My eight year blog-iversary happened in October, 2024. I created this “best of” page about five years ago to help newer visitors get a sense of what Ridiculouswoman is all about, but I hadn’t updated it until recently to bring my Fall Excursion series up to date.
I’ve written posts in series, that tell a continuing story. Others are stand-alone posts. I hope you enjoy this collection, and that it helps you get to know Ridiculouswoman better.

“Ridiculouswoman” comes from the story of my shock, grief and temporary insanity in the face of my husband’s terminal diagnosis. I learned from losing Mike that I want to live the rest of my life with love, gratitude, kindness and laughter. Especially laughter, because we shared a lot of that. And I’m pretty good at making people laugh, sometimes even intentionally.
